Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott (Poor Man, It Comes at Night) stars as Blake, a husband and father from San Francisco who inherits his childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father disappears and is presumed dead.
As his marriage to strong-willed wife Charlotte (Emmy Award-winner Julia Garner; Ozark, «Anne of the Invention») falls apart, Blake convinces Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the estate with their young daughter, Ginger (Matilda Firth; «Hallraisers»)

However, as night falls, Blake begins to behave strangely, turning into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte will have to decide whether the horror inside their home is more deadly than the danger outside
But when the family approaches the farm in the dead of night, they are attacked by an invisible animal, and in a desperate escape, they barricade themselves inside the house while the creature sweeps around the perimeter.
